MONTGOMERY COUNTY SENIOR GAMES ENTERS 35TH YEAR!!
For the 35th consecutive year, seniors from Montgomery County and beyond will gather for a week of exercise, competition and socialization. As my good friend and a longtime games participant, Patricia Rock says “stay in the game.”
The committee of volunteers who work to produce the games has already been hard at work for 2020. This year lunch will be held at the Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center. This will allow for a larger number of participants to enjoy lunch and for family and friends to attend. Golf will be held at a new course. Lastly, for the first time in four years, we are adding an event. Bag toss will be debuting at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center.
Registration will begin on February 3rd. Remember Bocce and Pickleball fill up quickly. It is important to remember that there is no limit on the number of events you can participate in. However, it is equally important to schedule yourself with travel time and plenty of rest.
Many folks collaborate to bring the games to over nearly 600 participants. They include corporate sponsors, municipal parks and recreation departments, Montgomery County and Community College staff, Normandy Farms Estates, PA State Legislators and staff, and numerous volunteers. Be sure to thank them when you see them during the week.
Thanks to all of you who participate year after year. 35 years has gone very quickly and we look forward to many more. See you in May!

As in past years, the MCSG will be held at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, as well as several specialized area facilities. Friends and family of competitors are encouraged to come any day as spectators, attend the Senior Expo held on Friday morning or preregister to enjoy the Friday Awards Luncheon.
Would you like more information about the Senior Expo or are you interested in being a vendor on Friday, May 15th? If so, please contact Susan Wenrick at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The MCSG are not qualifying events for participation in the annual PA Senior Games held each summer.
